2006 Duval Leroy Blanc de Blanc Grand Cru

Based in the heart of the Côtes des Blanc since 1859, the House of Duval-Leroy has always been a family-run business. It owns nearly 200 hectares of sustainably farmed vineyards, mainly Chardonnay, in the Grand Crus as well as extensive holdings around its home village of Vertus. Duval-Leroy wine maker, Sandrine Logette-Jardin, was the first (and is still the only) female Chef de Cave in a major Champagne house. She crafts champagnes that epitomise finesse, lightness and elegance with their fine bubbles, precise acidic structure and smooth palate.

A Prestige Blanc de Blanc vintage champagne blended from six grand cru villages in the Cotes de Blanc. The nose expresses bright lemon peel and buttered almonds leading to a refreshing, supple palate of mandarin and red apple. Rich in texture with a full body and long creamy finish thanks to nine years lees ageing and a small percentage in oak.
