2014 Malbec Grande Reserve, Altamana

An enchanting infusion of old Malbec vines from the esteemed Maule region in Chile paired with pioneering French winemaking. Bordeaux winemaker Didier Debono brings a wealth of experience from both Château Clinet and La Croix du Casse in Pomerol to create a range of truly sublime, boutique wines.

A rich, seductive nose of bramble fruit, spiced plum and toasty oak. Opulent and layered mouth feel with warming black plum and dark chocolate. Beautifully concentrated with fine-grained tannins and a long, silky finish.

Named the Top Value Wine from Chile in the 2015 Wine Spectator's Annual Chilean tasting report, scoring 91/100 points; Kim Marcus praised the wine as having: "An aroma of dark fruit leads to kirsch, plum and raspberry tart flavors."
