2007 Block 6 Shiraz, Kay Brothers

Sorry, this item is out of stock

Sourced from McLaren Vale, the 2007 Kay Brothers Block 6 Shiraz is produced from vines originally planted in 1892. The wine has a long and continued tradition with the use of the original open top fermenters from the first vintage that are still being used today.

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate - 93 pts - Deep garnet in color, 2007 Block 6 Shiraz has pronounced notes of cinnamon stick and dusty earth over warm blackberries and blueberries, cloves, toasty cedar and licorice. The full-bodied, bold fruit is well supported by very crisp acid and medium-firm grainy tannins. It finishes long and spicy. Approachable now, it should continue to drink to 2018+. - Dec 2010
