2005 VAT 6 Pinot Noir Winemakers Selection, Tyrrells

This wine was fermented in small hand plunged open vats at Tyrrell’s historic Ashmans Winery. Partial carbonic maceration was achieved by leaving approximately 10% as whole bunches in the

ferment. The wine was then matured in a range of new, one and two year old French barriques.

A classic pinot noir - well balanced and full flavoured, with savoury mushroom characters on the nose, sweet varietal fruit in the mid palate, soft tannins and a clean acid finish.
